Copy of receipt dated June 3, 1928 for E£ 1.500 Egyptian Pound issued by the journalist Amin Said for a payment made by the Royal Italian embassy in Cairo for their subscription to his magazine "El-Charq El-Adnah" (The Near East) for the month of May 1928. In those times of struggle against occupying colonial powers, receiving money from their embassies was considered by the nationalists as collaboration with the enemy.
