Draft of a letter Eltaher was hard pressed to send on March 31st, 1939 to the Minister of the Interior Mahmoud Fahmy El-Noqrashi Pasha, who was not on good terms with Eltaher, requesting the reinstatement of his newspaper "Ashoura's" license.
Eltaher added a hand-written comment explaining the circumstances that forced him to write this letter. He also mentions his refusal to change one word in the letter during a conversation on June 11, 1939 with Salim Bey Ezzeddine, the Assistant Minister in charge of the Publications Department.
