March 1954 edition of "Al-Fetra", an Arab literary journal published in Buenos Aires. This issues contains an article by Mohamed Ali Eltaher entitled "From the Ottoman Revolution to the Egyptian Revolution".
The article describes what the Turks did to reform the state following the removal of Sultan Abdel-Hamid. At the end of the article Eltaher adds that he offers it "with flowers and jasmine as a present to our Egyptian revolutionary government", i.e. to the 1952 military rulers of Egypt, who refused obstinately to listen to experienced people in the country.
