Armed Jewish settlers (Jewish Mujahedeen) in 1937 who acted as defenders of Jewish colonies, and also attackers on Palestinian villages as the situation called for.Today, some of these Jewish colonies have become cities, outskirts, or even downtowns of cities. New colonies which continue to be built according the plan designed to eradicate Palestine are now called 'settlements'.
