1951 - Colonel Mohamed Youssef receiving medal Colonel Mohamed Youssef Bey, one of the famous Egyptian political police officers in the forties and early fifties receiving a medal from the British Governement in 1951 " in appreciation for his services in the cause of freedom".

Colonel Mohamed Youssef Bey is seen in the picture receiving the medal from Sir Ralph Stephenson, British ambassador to Egypt. Colonel Mohamed Youssef Bey was one of the most efficient Egyptian political police officers of his times in chasing all those who struggled for the independence of the Arab countries and Egypt and the evacuation of British forces from Egypt's territories. His name has appeared numerous times in the books published by Eltaher.
