The Memoirs of Ibrahim Talaat, deputy in the Egyptian parliament under the monarchy for the Karmouz riding in Alexandria. He had supported the 1952 Revolution before it took place, and found himself its prisoner almost continuously following its success. Throughout their lives, Eltaher and Ibrahim Talaat were very close friends and political companions.
